Karnataka Judicial Service examination is conducted by the High Court of Karnataka. The recruitment process is carried out on the basis of prelims, mains examination, and interview. There are two categories of recruitment in this state: direct recruitment and in-service recruitment. For the former, maximum age limit is 40 years; for the latter it is 35 years of age. Candidates of direct recruitment must have a Bachelor of Laws from a recognized university or institute recognized by the Bar Council of India.
