Punjab ADA Eligibility Criteria 2026

To apply for Punjab ADA Recruitment 2026, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

Educational Qualification

  • Law Degree: Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Law (Professional Degree) from a recognized university, or be a Barrister of England/Ireland, or a member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland.
  • Advocate Enrollment: Candidates must be eligible for enrollment as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of practice at the Bar is required.
  • Punjabi Language: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject.

 

Age Limit (as on 1 January 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age (General): 37 years
  • Maximum Age (SC/BC – Punjab): 42 years
  • Maximum Age (State/Central Government Employees): 45 years
  • Maximum Age (PwD – Punjab): 47 years
