The WBJS exam is conducted by West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) in order to fill vacancies for the post of Civil Judge. The recruitment process is carried out on the basis of prelims, mains examination, and interview. The candidates must be more than 23 years of age and must not exceed 35 years of age. They must have a Bachelor of Laws from a recognized university or institute recognized by the Bar Council of India, and a member of the Bar Council. Candidates must be fluent in reading, speaking and writing Bengali language.
