The Haryana Assistant District Attorney (ADA) Examination, conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission, provides law graduates with an excellent opportunity to enter the state prosecution service. The selection process is conducted in three stages:
• Screening Test (Objective Type): Covers General Knowledge, General English, and Legal Aptitude. The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions with a duration of 2 hours and no negative marking.
• Subject Knowledge Test (Descriptive): Focuses on important Civil and Criminal Laws.
• Viva-Voce / Interview: Assesses legal understanding, communication skills, and overall suitability for the role.
To be eligible, candidates must hold an LL.B. degree, be enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council, and fulfill the prescribed age criteria.
