Gujarat Judicial Service examination is conducted by the High Court of Gujarat. It is one of the most prestigious judiciary of the nation. The recruitment process is carried out on the basis of prelims, mains examination, and interview. There is a negative marking of 0.33 mark for each wrong answer/multiple answers in the preliminary exam only. Fluency in Gujarati language is must, as there is a separate language paper at the stage of prelims. The candidate's age must not exceed 35 years of age. They must have a Bachelor of Laws from a recognized university or institute recognized by the Bar Council of India and must be enrolled as an advocate with BCI.
