Gujarat A.P.P. Exam

Gujarat Assistant Prosecution Officer examination is conducted by the Gujarat Public Service Commission. It is one of the most prestigious judiciary of the nation. The recruitment process is carried out on the basis of prelims, mains examination, and interview. A candidate shall possess

(i) a degree in law of the University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of parliament or deemed to be a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government,

(ii) three years of continuous and regular practice and experience on the criminal side of the Bar,

(iii) adequate knowledge of Gujarati language and be thoroughly conversant with and be able to read and write in Gujarati,

(iv) the basic knowledge of Computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and

(v) adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi or both. A candidate shall not be less than 25 years of age and not be more than 35 years of age
